What do I need to think about when choosing a photographer?
There are lots of important considerations that need to be addressed when selecting a wedding photographer. Firstly, you need to look at their portfolio and see if you like their style.
One of the key discussions that you need to have is whether you want photography to take place from when you are getting ready, or just the ceremony and reception. Some photographers can be available for just a couple of hours following the wedding ceremony to take group shots - make sure you know what you want before booking.
It is also very important that the photographer makes you feel comfortable and relaxed when shooting. You don’t want the photographs that you are going to keep forever to look forced or uncomfortable. It is very common to feel camera shy, it is isn’t the most natural of circumstances, so feeling relaxed is very important.
